What's new
Banana Ball is returning to Walt Disney World for the second consecutive year. The 2027 world tour will feature the Banana Ball Open, a tournament held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
All six league teams—the Savannah Bananas, Firefighters, Party Animals, Loco Beach Coconuts, Indianapolis Clowns, and Texas Tailgaters—will be in attendance. The top four teams in the league will compete in the tournament held at The Stadium, a venue that features over 9,500 seats and luxury sky boxes.
Banana Ball differs from traditional baseball with unique rules, such as foul balls caught by fans counting as outs and players being allowed to steal first base.
When and where
The event takes place from April 15 through April 18, 2027. The games will be hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, located within the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
What it means for your visit
If you want to attend these games during your 2027 spring vacation, you must act quickly. Tickets are not sold through standard Disney channels and are distributed via a random drawing.
* Ticket Lottery: You must join the Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com before it closes at 11:50 p.m. EST on October 31. Joining the list does not guarantee a ticket, but it is the only way to be eligible for the drawing.
* Pricing: Standard tickets start at $35. Meet and Greet tickets start at $100. These prices include all fees and taxes.
* Crowds: Because The Stadium holds nearly 10,000 guests, expect increased traffic around the ESPN Wide World of Sports area and potentially higher demand for Disney transportation and ride-share services during the tournament dates in mid-April.
* Remote Viewing: If you cannot secure tickets, Disney confirmed the games will be streamed for free on the teams' YouTube channels.
