Welcome to this week’s Pixie Post wait time report. We are analyzing standby data from October 5 to October 11, 2026, to help you navigate your next visit to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
Across the board, wait times trended upward this week. While Disneyland Park remained stable, every other park saw an increase in average standby times compared to the previous week. Hollywood Studios experienced the most significant surge, while mid-week dates—specifically Tuesday and Wednesday—continued to offer the lowest averages for guests looking to avoid the heaviest crowds.
Walt Disney World
At Walt Disney World, Hollywood Studios was the busiest park of the week, averaging 40 minutes across all attractions. This is a 10-minute increase from the previous week. The park reached its peak on Sunday, October 11, with an average wait of 49 minutes. Slinky Dog Dash led the park with a 72-minute average, followed by Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at 54 minutes.
Magic Kingdom remained relatively manageable with a 21-minute average, though this was still higher than the 17-minute average recorded the week prior. TRON Lightcycle / Run remains the highest demand attraction in the park by a significant margin, averaging 80 minutes. For those visiting Magic Kingdom, Tuesday, October 6, was the best day to visit with a low average of 14 minutes.
EPCOT and Animal Kingdom also saw slight increases. EPCOT averaged 29 minutes, with Test Track (79 minutes) and Frozen Ever After (60 minutes) serving as the primary bottlenecks. Animal Kingdom averaged 26 minutes, peaking on Saturday at 37 minutes. Wednesday was the quietest day for both parks.

Wednesday, October 7, was particularly quiet at Disneyland Park, dropping to a 13-minute average.
Disney California Adventure saw an increase from 20 minutes to 24 minutes this week. The busiest day was Saturday, October 10, where the average climbed to 37 minutes. Planning tip from this week
Based on this week's data, the mid-week window is your most effective tool for minimizing time in line. Wednesday, October 7, was the quietest day for four out of the six parks tracked (EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disneyland Park). In Animal Kingdom specifically, visiting on Wednesday (15 min) instead of Saturday (37 min) would have saved you an average of 22 minutes per ride. If your schedule allows, aim to visit the most popular parks on Tuesday or Wednesday to take advantage of these significant dips in attendance.
