Holiday Songs Coming to Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT

What's new

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is introducing a seasonal overlay for the 2026 holiday season. During this time, the attraction's standard rotation of six songs will be replaced by three holiday-themed tracks. These songs will be shuffled, providing a different musical experience for guests each time they ride.

The featured holiday tracks are:

* "It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by Andy Williams

* "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra

* "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses

Outside of this seasonal window, the ride typically features a playlist including "September," "Disco Inferno," "Conga," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," "I Ran (So Far Away)," and "One Way or Another."

When and where

This seasonal musical overlay takes place at the Wonders of Xandar pavilion, located in the World Discovery neighborhood of EPCOT at Walt Disney World. The holiday tracks will be active starting November 25, 2026, and will run through January 6, 2027.

This timeframe overlaps with the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which is scheduled to run from November 27 through December 30, 2026.

What it means for your visit

If you are visiting EPCOT during the late November to early January window, your experience on Cosmic Rewind will differ from the standard version of the ride. Because the songs are shuffled, you may need to ride multiple times if you wish to hear all three seasonal selections.

Since this is a limited-time offering, expect the attraction to remain a high-demand priority for guests. You should plan to secure a spot in the Virtual Queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entry, as a traditional standby line is typically not offered for this attraction.

If you prefer the original 1970s and 80s pop soundtrack, you should schedule your visit before November 25 or after January 6, as the holiday tracks will be the exclusive music options during the six-week seasonal event.
