Jack and Sally Holiday Meet and Greet at Magic Kingdom

What's new

Jack Skellington and Sally have officially updated their meet and greet space at Magic Kingdom to reflect the holiday season. The area, which previously featured the "Halloween Town" theme from *Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas*, has been transformed into "Christmas Town."

As part of this seasonal change, the décor now includes wreaths, twinkling lights, and a Christmas tree. A specific addition to the set this year is a unique snowflake ornament, modeled after the first snowflake Jack discovers in the film. This ornament was placed on the tree by a Make-A-Wish child, Wednesday, who helped Disney staff and the characters transition the park from its Halloween theme to its Christmas presentation.

When and where

This character experience is located at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. The transition occurred as the park traded its pumpkins and scarecrows on Main Street, U.S.A., for holiday greenery and lights. The Christmas Town overlay for Jack and Sally will remain in place throughout the 2026 holiday season.

What it means for your visit

If you are planning to meet Jack Skellington and Sally during your winter trip, you will see them in their festive "Sandy Claws" inspired environment rather than the spooky Halloween setting.

Because Jack and Sally are highly popular characters and typically only appear during specific seasonal events or peak times, you should check the My Disney Experience app for their specific appearance times and location details on the day of your visit.

Visitors should note that character meet and greets for this duo often draw significant crowds. If meeting them is a priority, it is practical to head to their designated location early in the day or at the start of their scheduled appearance window to manage wait times. The presence of the special snowflake ornament on the tree provides a new detail for fans of the film to look for during their interaction.
